Determine the energy efficiency of your home

The energy efficiency of your home is determined by the gas consumption and the electricity consumption of the home. Per square meter and consumption year, a number (e.g. 100 kWh/m2) follows that indicates the energy efficiency of your home. You can compare this number with other homes so that you know what is still possible for your home. Low consumption also means lower energy costs.

A low energy value is achieved, for example, by a high degree of insulation of the home, but also by economical use of energy.

EG Delft can calculate your current total energy consumption free of charge, but will also indicate which steps may be interesting for you to reduce your total energy consumption (see information under "projects"). In older homes, there are of course more opportunities for improvement than in recently built homes. This offer is therefore especially interesting for the homeowner with a somewhat older home.
